Next month, we will see a 16,000 square foot, two stories, $10 million steakhouse opening in conjunction with the recently opened InterContinental hotel in downtown San Diego. It is the 16th Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, which can be found in other urban centers such as Manhattan, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, etc. What makes this special is that this is the first California location, with a second in Los Angeles opening by the end of year. This California mid-century designed restaurant is expected to seat as many as 480 people and will feature meats priced from $45 for a filet mignon to $160 for a Wagyu tasting. While it is connected to the InterContinental hotel, it needs to draw guests from outside the hotel to succeed which should not be too difficult with its magnificent waterfront view. Excited to try this place out?
