In a recent monthly study from the University of San Diego utilizing economic indicators such as unemployment rates and residential building permits, it can be confirmed that San Diego’s economy is doing well.
A notable figure is the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate this past February, 3.5 percent compared to 4.4 percent last year. This can be partially due to the observed increase in help wanted advertising throughout the county.
