If you are using the Waze GPS Navigation app, you may have already seen ads for open houses. Just recently, HomeSpotter, a real estate mobile app company has offered its users the ability to advertise on Waze navigation application, in addition to social media and websites. This will allow agents to target clients through geographical location and promote open houses during the time they are actually open for viewing by the public. Brokerages such as Berkshire Hathaway and Roach has already offered this new platform for their real estate agents and we may soon see similar offerings from other companies. Home search app Homesnap has already done something similar by allowing agents to place listing ads via map pins or purchase “digital billboards.” With the emergence of technology, prospective homebuyers can expect better tools for searching homes since as real estate technology continue to magnify!
